Vegatable Planting Day (19th Aug 08)

After the great fun at the Tao Lounge, today we woke up very late...hahah..we skip our breakfast and straight away to have lunch at Sri Rambai, this is because we need to send my hubby car for servicing. After that, we went to Pacific shopping for whole day but we insist need to reached MIL place at 8pm. This is because we don't want to missed the Olympic badminton final tournament to support the Penang Guy Lee Chong Wei.

Actually before this day (16TH Aug)i have planted the vegetable (lettuce - chai sim) from the seeds bought sometime ago. When i was at MIL house on 17th Aug, my MIL asked me to take some of the little chai sim to plant at my home. hehehe.....see the photos, now i got so many vegetables at my garden.

After 3 days (19th Aug), i saw my vegetable (lettuce - chai sim) start grow from the seeds. Yuppee..i saw the leaves now. Its growth very fast.















I went to Autocity again on 18th Aug, this is because today i took the company bus to autocity due to outside of my company flood. So i got to left my car overnight at company carpark which is safe from flood. Tang came to fetch me at Autocity, its almost 8pm and we are so hungry. We went to KFC to have our dinner. After the dinner, we went to the flower exhibition at Autocity and i bought 2 pots of flowers from my gardener as they also joined the exhibition.

Tao Cuisine Lounge at Autocity (16th Aug 08)

This saturday i did not go back to my parent house, but we went to the Tao Cuisine Lounge to have a drink with my hubby's bandmates. This is my 1st time to that lounge, thanks to Khem booked the very nice japanese style room for us. The room was not fully enclosed but we still can get to see the band on the stage through the glass.Surprisingly, the music band on that night was very very good. We all enjoyed the music played by the band very much.

Dinner at Autocity (5th Aug 2008)

Missed out to update the blog on 5th aug.

Let me recalled back, this is the date before my czech friends visit. As usual, we leave the office sharp, and my hubby wannna meet me at Autocity for dinner. Hence, we met up at Autocity and we decided to take our dinner at Restaurant Golden Triangle. Overall the food are nice but i only feel the tomyam soup too salty, i can't even finished the Tomyam soup this time. ;-)

After the dinner, we went to Krico to buy some stuff for the BBQ night on 9th Aug.

Jan, Marcel & Lenka's Visit (9th Aug 08)

Today, we all wake up at 9.30pm.

Our 1st plan fro today is to eat the dim sum, but due to the late depart from home. We straight away to find durian for our breakfast instead of dim sum...hahaha, we will leave the dim sum for the next morning.

My hubby find a durian stall at roadside of Machang Bobok. Jan, Marcel and Lenka enjoyed durian very much...and we also eat 1kg of mangosteen at the stall. After that, we took our lunch at Bukit Mertajam famous Yam rice. Delicious....

After the lunch, we went to Penang Bird Park somewhere nearby Sunway Hotel for the day tour.

After, we proceed to the Sunway Shopping Mall to buy charcoal, and some food for the BBQ tonight. Joe and Joanne will also joined us the BBQ and also will stayed overnight at our house too....hahaha...its really merrier as my our room was fulled with the guests.

2nd day of Marcel & Lenka's visit (8th Aug 08)

Today is a very special day, 8/8/08...but me and my hubby still have to work on this day.

Since Lenka is not feeling well, they had decided to have a good rest at home for this day. And Lenka baked a Pizza for their lunch and definitely the bread baked for Room 802 is for their breakfast.

Besides, Lenka also cooked "Bramboracka" - potato soup in czech language. This Bramboracka is for me and my hubby who missed the czech soup very much. The ingredient in the soup is potato, mushroom, peas, carrot, and some herbs (cumin, marjarom). The mushroom is typical plucked by marcel and lenka when they were in Czech, they bring us a bottle of dried mushroom. We like it very much...Thank you Lenka :-)

After worked, we took the Bramboracka and went to airport to picked up Jan. Tonight is Jan's turned to arrived at penang airport. We went to Hao You seafood again with my parents, marcel, lenka, jan and my hubby. We went back to the same seafood is because Marcel missed the Salad Prawn very much and he insist want to go to this seafood again after 1 yr no chance to eat this dish at Czech...hahahah

We all enjoyed our dinner very much. After drop my parents back, we all went back to our home sweet home to have some drinks and chat till 2am in the morning. My hubby let 3 of them tried the "Cempedak "which they haven't seen it before. Marcel like it very much as its so sweet.

Marcel & Lenka Visit (7th Aug 08)

Welcome Marcel and Lenka to Pearl of the island (Penang). This is 2nd visit to penang by marcel and lenka. However, this trip they will stay at my new house.

My husband is rushing to penang airport fetch our both of them as their flight arrival penang about 5.35pm. Lenka was actually not feeling well, and we bring her to see Dr Yeoh and also have our simple dinner at permatang tinggi. We ordered Pan Mee, Jawa Mee, Char Koay Teow, Poh Piah and Si Kuo Th'ng for our dinner. Both of them enjoyed the hawker food very much.

We back to our home about 10.30pm and now my hubby wants to bake bread for marcel and lenka's breakfast. This is 1st time he making bread. See the photos, actually the raisin bread he baked is not bad....
